Giclée is a late 20th century term typically describing large-format, high-resolution, high-quality fine art printing. Caulfeild Gallery uses extremely high-resolution images to print copies of fine artwork onto a variety of different substrates, but especially canvas. The reproduction quality is such that the copy looks near identical to the original painting. Besides fine-art, giclée printing an be used for photographs or any computer generated art.

Caulfeild Gallery provides fine art reproduction services to artists and anyone requiring high quality prints for their collections. Artists needing single or multiple copies will benefit from our service, as this technology allows for low-cost ‘one-off’ prints upon request. In addition, giclée printing has the added advantage of allowing artists total control of the production of their images, including final colour correction and substrate selection.
